Terms of Use
These terms apply to the Flamonk iOS app, provided by Individual Entrepreneur PHILIPP LUCA LOUIS ("we", "us"). By using the app you agree to them. Apple's Licensed Application End User License Agreement also applies. If the two conflict, these terms win where the law allows.
What Flamonk is
Flamonk helps you stay away from porn with Screen Time shields, a Safari extension, a phone lock you can only lift with push-ups or a math challenge, and a daily walk of prayer and Scripture.
It is a tool, not a guarantee. No blocker catches everything. New sites appear every day, and iOS lets you switch protections off in Settings. Flamonk works best together with your own decision and people you trust.
Not medical or pastoral care
Flamonk does not give medical, psychological or pastoral advice and does not replace a doctor, counselor or pastor. If you are in crisis or thinking about harming yourself, call or text 988 (Suicide & Crisis Lifeline, USA) or your local emergency number right away.
Push-ups
Some features ask you to do push-ups. Only do them if you are healthy enough to exercise. If you have a heart, lung, joint or other health condition, are pregnant, or are unsure, talk to a doctor first. Stop immediately if you feel pain, dizziness or shortness of breath. You can switch to the math challenge or lower the count in Settings at any time.
Subscriptions
- Flamonk is offered as a weekly or a yearly auto-renewing subscription. The price is shown in the app before you buy.
- Payment is charged to your Apple ID at confirmation of purchase.
- Your subscription renews automatically unless you turn off auto-renew at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Your account is charged for renewal within 24 hours before the end of the period.
- You can manage or cancel your subscription in your Apple ID settings (Settings › your name › Subscriptions).
- Apple sells the subscription and handles billing and refunds. Refund requests go to Apple: reportaproblem.apple.com.
Your use
Use Flamonk only for yourself and only in lawful ways. Do not try to reverse-engineer, copy or resell the app. Do not use it to monitor another person without their knowledge.
Content
The app, its design, mascot, texts and prayers belong to us or our licensors. Scripture quotations are from the ESV® Bible (The Holy Bible, English Standard Version®), © 2001 by Crossway, a publishing ministry of Good News Publishers. Used by permission. All rights reserved.
Liability
We build Flamonk with care, but we provide it "as is". To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential damages, for content that a filter did not block, or for the loss of data stored only on your phone. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, such as liability for intent, gross negligence, or injury to life, body or health, and nothing limits your rights as a consumer under the law of the country where you live.
Changes
We may update these terms, for example when features change. The date at the top shows the current version. If a change is significant, we will point it out in the app.
Law
These terms are governed by the laws of Georgia, without prejudice to mandatory consumer protection rules of the country where you live.
