A Christian iPhone app for quitting porn

Break free from porn with Scripture.

Flamonk locks the apps that pull you in, asks for a few push-ups before you go back in, walks you through temptation and helps you fall asleep with God’s Word instead of your phone.

The problem

It isn’t a willpower problem.
It’s an open door.

Porn rarely wins in daylight. It wins late, alone, on a screen, when your thumb already knows the way. Flamonk is built for exactly those moments.

One tap away

at 11:52 PM, tired and alone

  • Most nights it isn’t a decision. It’s a reflex.
  • Afterwards: shame, silence, and the same cycle again
  • You fight it alone, in your own strength

Before

One door shut

locked before the page even loads

  • A verse and a way back, instead of what you were about to see
  • A few push-ups before you get back in, so the urge has time to pass
  • Grace after a slip, not shame

With Flamonk

The system

Six quiet steps for the hardest hour.

Each one is small on its own. Together they stand between you and the reflex, every night.

  1. 01LockYou pick the apps and sites. Screen Time shuts the door.
  2. 02A verseInstead of a dead end, God’s Word and a way back.
  3. 03Move firstWant back in? Push-ups, counted by the front camera.
  4. 04BreatheTap “I’m being tempted.” A guided breath, then calm audio.
  5. 05RestNight Mode reads Scripture until you fall asleep.
  6. 06GraceAfter a slip: a short prayer and today’s next step.

11:52 PMThe thought arrives

One search.
One second.

The push-up reset

A reset, not a punishment.

Want a locked app back? Move first, then decide.

  • Pick your number. The camera counts.
  • Push-ups hurt? Do squats or a few quick math problems.
  • Emergency passes for when you really need an app, like maps or work

“Godliness is valuable in every way.”

The difference

“Can’t I just use a blocker?”
You can. Then what?

A wall stops one click. It doesn’t meet you in the moment, and it doesn’t help you get back up. Same night, three ways it can go:

A search bar at night, with the search already typed
Willpower aloneThe door stays open
A plain blockerA wall, and nothing after

FAQ

Questions

Can Flamonk see what I browse?

No. Locking runs on Apple’s Screen Time, which gives Flamonk anonymous tokens, not app names or browsing history. Your progress stays on your phone.

Do I really have to do push-ups?

Only if you want a locked app back early or after a slip, and you choose the number. If push-ups hurt, do squats or a few quick math problems. For a real need, like maps or work, there are emergency passes.

What happens if I slip?

Falling again doesn’t end the story. Flamonk won’t scold you. It gives you a short prayer, reminds you what is true, and helps you get back up today, not someday.

Which Bible translation do you use?

The Berean Standard Bible (BSB). Every passage is read word for word.

Is it only for iPhone?

For now, yes. Android may come later.

Does it replace a pastor or counselor?

No. Flamonk is a daily tool, not therapy or pastoral care. It works best alongside people you trust. If you are in crisis, please contact local emergency services.
